MAP Velocity Program
Run by the Melbourne Accelerator Program (MAP), Velocity is an early-stage founder program for 20 startups.
Phase One: 10 evening workshops over July – October on topics like testing your business model and using lean startup methodology
Phase Two: selected startups will be invited to a 6-week pitch preparation program before a final showcase

Melbourne InnovatEd
Melbourne InnovatEd is an incubation program for educational technology (edtech) innovations focused on higher education (although inevitably such projects may have application in broader teaching and learning environments). Open to staff, students and alumni* of the University, Melbourne InnovatEd is designed to incentivise, support and drive the creation and uptake of ed tech innovations within the University (*alumni who have graduated in the previous 3 years may apply).
The program includes opportunities for professional development, seed funding, mentoring, networking and support from experts in teaching and learning innovation and entrepreneurship, drawing on expertise from Chancellery, Learning Environments, Academic Divisions, the Melbourne Entrepreneurial Centre (MEC) and industry.

Melbourne Accelerator Program’s, the Franklins workshop and event series, offers mentoring, introductions and practical entrepreneurial education for up to 60 high-potential female entrepreneurs each year.
