Information for micro-credential and short course learners
Micro-credentials are short, assessed, 100% online courses designed to help busy professionals develop specific skills and capabilities in their industry.
Please note that we operate a one-discount policy. If you qualify for more than one discount, you will be awarded the one that is the highest amount.
Discount information for current staff at the University of Melbourne:
Current staff at the University of Melbourne are entitled to a 25% discount across all our micro-credentials.
- To verify your status as a current University of Melbourne staff member, please email Student Support using your staff email address, stating the name of the Melbourne MicroCert you wish to study
- One of our helpful team members will get back to you with discount payment options and guidance on course enrolment.
Discount information for University of Melbourne alumni:
University of Melbourne alumni are entitled to a 30 % discount across all our micro-credentials.
To obtain your Melbourne MicroCert alumni discount, you will need to verify your alumni status with our Student Support team.
You will need to provide us with the following:
- Your full name
- Your previous student ID number (if known)
- The name of the course you previously studied and the year you completed your course
- Please also provide us with the name of the micro-credentials you wish to study.
