Overview

3a is a set of evidence-based teaching and learning strategies for early childhood educators and parents to use with children from birth to five.

Research has shown that using early 3a based interventions can create a lasting change in children’s lives both before and after a child starts school. Within the framework of stable relationships, the Abecedarian elements of Language Priority, Conversational Reading, Learning Games, and Enriched Caregiving creates a learning environment that can support children’s development to their full potential.
